Russian insurer's lawsuits-related claims exceed 30% of premiums

Russia-based Rosgosstrakh Insurance Co. (P.J.S.C.) said that it was sued for 21 billion Russian rubles ($326 million) in 2018, equivalent to 30.5% of its gross written premiums that year, Xprimm.com reported. The insurer said that it set up RUB 10.5 billion of reserves for claim-related losses and court expenses.
