Iran floods cause $3.6 billion in economic losses

U.K.-based Aon P.L.C. said that recent heavy rains and floods are likely to have caused up to $3.6 billion in economic losses in Iran, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing sources. The insurance broker said that floods had affected at least 26 out of 31 provinces, destroying 85,000 homes, infrastructure and agricultural land across the country.
