Catastrophes likely caused $7 billion in insured losses

U.S.-based The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. said that natural disasters are likely to have caused around $7 billion in insured losses across the world in the first quarter, Artemis.bm reports. Analysts at Goldman Sachs said that European storms are expected to cost insurers more than $2 billion.
