Generali to buy Ergo's insurance units in Hungary, Slovakia
Posted On: Apr. 5, 2019 5:49 AM CSTItaly-based Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. is buying German insurer Ergo International A.G.'s insurance business in Hungary and Slovakia as part of its plans to expand its operations in Central and Eastern Europe, Xprimm.com reported. Under the agreement, Generali will buy Ergo's entire portfolio including nonlife, life and composite business.
