Randall and Quilter buys Irish captive insurer

Bermuda-based run-off insurer Randall and Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. has acquired Ireland-based Western Captive Insurance Co. DAC, Sharecast reported. Randall and Quilter purchased Western Captive from its parent Ireland-based construction company Coffey Group. Randall and Quilter plans to transfer the insurer's business to its Maltese unit – Accredited Insurance (Europe) Ltd.
