Hackers exploit supply chain vulnerability to conduct attacks: Report

A report by U.S.-based cybersecurity firm Carbon Black Inc. found that hackers are increasingly targeting vulnerabilities in businesses' supply chains such as a lack of visibility to carry out cyber attacks, Computer Weekly reported. The report found that hackers used the "island hopping" strategy to target firms across supply chains in more than half of cyber attacks in the first quarter.
