Explosion rocks automotive parts factory, kills seven people

An explosion occurred at China-based Waffer Technology (Kunshan) Ltd.'s automotive parts factory in Jiangsu province on March 31, killing seven people, Hazardex reported citing sources. The blast occurred in a container stored outside the factory's premises and spread to nearby production facilities. The accident forced authorities to evacuate hundreds of residents and factory workers from the area.
