Insurers look to technology to counter political risk, poor demand

A report by U.S.-based A.M. Best Co. Inc. said that Spanish insurers are increasingly using technology to drive sales and combat limited growth opportunities at home and political risk in Latin America, BNamericas reported. The consultancy firm said that political and economic risks have increased in Latin America recently, hampering insurers' growth plans in the region.
