Windstorm destroys industrial hub in Nepal

Nepal-based Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that a recent windstorm is likely to have caused billions of Nepalese rupees worth of damage at an industrial hub in Parsa, The Himalayan Times reported. Anil Kumar Agrawal, the association's vice president, said that the storm struck the region on March 31, damaging factories, industrial infrastructure, raw materials and goods, and electricity poles in the hub.
