French insurer sets up Brexit branch in UK

France-based insurer La Parisienne Assurances is setting up a branch in the United Kingdom to maintain access to its clients post Brexit, La Tribune de l’assurance reported. The insurer is looking to obtain temporary permission from U.K. regulators to continue its operations in the country. La Parisienne Assurances plans to further expand its operations in the United Kingdom after its turnover increased threefold in the country in 2018.
