Directors arrested for arson to collect insurance

Indian police have arrested two directors of SRS Meditech Ltd. for allegedly setting fire to the company's factory to collect 700 million Indian rupees ($10 million) in claims, Hindustan Times reported. The police said the two directors – Sayed Mujahir Askari and Singhraj – had purchased insurance for the factory's machinery, which not on the premises during investigations after the factory went up in flames in October 2018.
