Flood cause $170 million in losses across Iran

Iranian officials said that recent floods have caused nearly $170 million in financial losses across five cities, Middle East Monitor reported citing sources. Mahmoud Hojjati, Iran's agriculture minister, said that the floods caused more than $123 million in losses to farms in the northeastern provinces of Golestan and Mazandaran. The floods also caused nearly $45 million worth of damage to infrastructure and houses in the provinces of Kermanshah, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Semnan.
