Cyclone Veronica disrupts iron ore exports worth $824 million

Cyclone Veronica has disrupted iron ore miners' and ports' operations in Australia, delaying shipments worth $824 million, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported. The cyclone forced ports on the Pilbara coast to shut operations from March 22. Miners U.K.-based Rio Tinto Group and Australia-based BHP Group also suspended mining, port and rail operations due to the storm.
