Frequent air staff strikes threaten airlines' reputation

The Belgian Air Transport Association said that frequent air traffic controllers' strikes have caused flight cancellations and disrupted suppliers' operations this year and could damage the sector's reputation, The Brussels Times reported. Herman Carpentier, an official at the association, said that the strikes are likely to cost airlines several millions of euros and could force some players to relocate their operations abroad.
