Reinsurance rates are expected to rise up to 30% at the April renewals in Japan for wind-related risks and for regions that recorded significant catastrophe losses, Artemis.bm reports citing sources. Insurers are expected to face high reinsurance rates due to losses related to typhoons Jebi and Trami among other disasters, the sources said.
