Manufacturers could look to Europe over China for sourcing: Report
Posted On: Mar. 25, 2019 5:51 AM CSTA report said that increased costs, rising political instability and an economic slowdown in China could drive manufacturers to reduce sourcing from the country and do more business with European suppliers, Factory Gate reported. The report by U.K.-based Cranfield School of Management and U.S.-based The Dun and Bradstreet Corp. found that manufacturers cut sourcing from "high risk countries" by 25% in the fourth quarter of 2018.
