Nomination deadline for Break Out Awards extended to April 3

After receiving numerous requests, Business Insurance has extended the deadline for its 2019 Break Out Awards, which recognize the next generation of leaders in the insurance sector, until Wednesday, April 3.
In their third year, the Break Out Awards are open to all up-and-coming managers and executives in the risk management and commercial property/casualty field.
Honorees from across the United States will be recognized for their leadership, expertise and professional skills and can be working in any area of the industry — risk managers, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, wholesalers, agencies, MGAs, MGUs, captive managers, third-party administrators and other service providers.
While there is no age limit, nominees must have worked in the industry for no more than 15 years. Nominees will have already established themselves in their careers and will be on a leadership trajectory.
Winners will be notified in mid-April, and their profiles will be published in the June 2019 issue of Business Insurance. Regional awards events honoring the 40 winners — 10 from each of four regions — will be held in June.
