Munich Re likely to pay $137 million for Boeing 737 crash

Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co, said that it is likely to pay up to €120 million ($137 million) to settle claims related to the recent Boeing 737 Max 8 crash in Ethiopia, Reuters reported. Munich Re also said that it has no plans to sell its unit – Ergo Group A.G. – and is seeking to strengthen the subsidiary through acquisitions.
