Beazley, Marsh partner on cyber cover, breach response

Beazley PLC and Marsh LLC said Tuesday they are collaborating on cyber coverage and breach response to protect U.S. manufacturers against evolving cyber risks.

The companies said their Manufacturers First Response program, which is available to manufacturers of all sizes, includes supply chain interruption from cyberattacks against the insured or its suppliers, invoice manipulation resulting in payments being misdirected or fraudulently directed, technology disruption affecting operational and industrial controls hardware and/or software, and e-crime losses from payment or delivery of money or securities as a result of fraud.

The companies said manufacturers will also be able to take advantage of risk management services provided by Beazley’s BBR Services, which helps clients respond to actual or suspected cyber breaches.
