PartnerRe records $132 million in losses driven by catastrophes

Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. lost $132 million in 2018 largely due to large catastrophes including typhoons Jebi and Trami in Japan, hurricanes Florence and Michael and the California wildfires, The Royal Gazette reported. The reinsurer recorded $386 million in catastrophe-related losses.
