Explosion halts production at Hanwha's ammunition plant

South Korea's regional labor office has ordered conglomerate Hanwha Corp. to halt production at its ammunition plant in Daejeon after an explosion killed three workers on Feb. 14., Hazardex reported citing sources. Authorities said that the plant can resume operations after the factory owner introduces improved safety plans and inspectors give approval. The blast took place in a rocket propellant manufacturing facility.
