Axa to cede risks across portfolio to ILS sector

French insurer Axa SA plans to increase its use of insurance-linked securities and broaden the risks that it cedes to the ILS sector, Artemis.bm reports. Greg Hendrick, chief executive of Axa, said that the insurer will cede risks across several portfolios rather than just the Bermuda-based Axa XL portfolio.
