Retailer covered for warehouse fire, business interruption

U.K.-based online grocery retailer Ocado Group P.L.C. said that it has insurance for property, stock, equipment and for business interruption-related losses after a fire destroyed its automated warehouse on Feb. 5, The Guardian reported. The warehouse contained an estimated £6 million ($8 million) worth of stock. The Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service has evacuated the Walworth industrial estate and nearby homes due to risk of toxic releases and large cylinder explosions.
