UK, Switzerland allow insurers to conduct business post Brexit

The United Kingdom and Switzerland signed an agreement to allow insurers to freely conduct business in the two countries post Brexit, Reuters reported. Under the agreement, insurers from both countries can open branches in each other's jurisdictions. The deal will replicate the European Union's insurance agreement with Switzerland and will come into effect after the agreement ceases to apply in the United Kingdom post Brexit.
