Berkshire Hathaway eyes expansion in U.K., Ireland

U.S.-based Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. plans to set up a new venture to expand into the property construction insurance market in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Verdict.co.uk reported. The insurer has appointed Simeon Seamer to head the new venture.
