Argo Group likely to record $32 million in cat losses

Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. expects to record $32 million in catastrophe losses in the fourth quarter of 2018 after ceded reinsurance recoverables, Artemis.bm reports. Argo has recently shifted its strategy to underwrite more risk on behalf of third-party investors through insurance-linked securities and its capital providers are likely to share the cat losses.
