Allianz receives reinsurance license, MS Amlin exits Indian market
Posted On: Jan. 21, 2019 4:43 AM CSTGermany-based Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty S.E. has received a license to conduct reinsurance operations in India, while U.K.-based MS Amlin P.L.C. is exiting the Indian reinsurance market, The Indian Express reported. Foreign reinsurers' premiums in India totaled more than 62 billion Indian rupees ($870 million) in the year ended March 31, 2018.
