Freight operators urged to prepare for hard Brexit, avoid disruption

The U.K.'s Freight Transport Association has urged road freight providers to submit applications for international permits to prevent supply-chain disruptions due to a potentially hard Brexit, The Loadstar reported. U.K.-based freight operators will need European Conference of Ministers of Transport permits to take goods to the European Union and European Economic Area if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
