Arthur J. Gallagher to acquire UK brokerage

U.S.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire U.K.-based Stackhouse Poland Ltd., Business Leader reported. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first quarter. Brokerage Stackhouse Poland has more than 500 employees working at its 23 offices across the United Kingdom.
