Marcelo Homburger appointed president, CEO of Aon Brazil

U.K.-based insurance broker Aon P.L.C. has appointed Marcelo Homburger as president and chief executive of commercial risk, health, retirement and affinity at its Brazilian unit, starting Jan. 1, Segs.com reported. Mr. Homburger will replace Marcelo Munerato de Almeida, who will serve as vice president and chief commercial officer of health, commercial risk, retirement and affinity at Aon Latin America. Mr. Homburger will be based at Aon Benfield Brasil Corretora de Resseguros Ltda.'s office in Sao Paulo.
