Marsh offers firms cover against strike-related losses

Brazil-based insurance broker Marsh Corretora De Seguros Ltda. is offering companies cover against delay-related damage or loss of goods due to demonstrations, strikes and road blockades, Segs.com reported. Marsh launched the insurance cover following losses-related to the truck drivers' strike in Brazil in May. Marsh said that the product will protect large and medium-sized companies that transport perishable goods and livestock and manage cold chain cargo from potential losses.
