Businesses stockpile goods, prepare for long-term Brexit disruption

U.K. businesses are seeking more warehouse space to store raw materials, spare parts and finished products for around six months to one year to prevent Brexit-related disruption, Reuters reported. Experts said that companies are using multiple logistics providers as a contingency against potential delays due to border checks, blocked ports and traffic jams. The Bank of England said that large companies are more active than small firms and have prepared for at least a month of disruption post Brexit.
