Hub acquires insurance agency

Hub International Ltd. has acquired Tamrac Insurance Group Inc., Chicago-based Hub announced Tuesday.

According to a statement announcing the transaction, Hunt Valley, Maryland-based Tamrac is involved in both commercial and personal lines insurance. The company “provides insurance solutions for businesses in the automobile service and repair, cannabis, food and hospitality industries,” according to the statement.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
