Data breach at Cathay Pacific leaks 9.4 million passengers' details
Posted On: Oct. 25, 2018 6:15 AM CSTHong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. said that a data breach occurred at the airline and its unit earlier this year, compromising personal details of 9.4 million passengers, South China Morning Post reported. The airline discovered unauthorized access to passenger data including names, nationalities, dates of birth, telephone numbers, emails, physical addresses, passport numbers and identity card numbers.
