BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aon forms group to foster innovation

Aon PLC on Thursday said it has established a New Ventures Group to promote innovation across the company.

Tony Goland, Aon’s chief human resources officer, has been named to the newly created post of chief innovation officer and will be responsible for organizing the new group. Other initial members of the group include Greg Case, Aon’s CEO; Christa Davies, Aon’s chief financial officer; Bryon Ehrhart, global head of strategic growth and development; and John Bruno, Aon’s chief operations officer and CEO of data and analytic services.

“As chief innovation officer, Tony Goland will be responsible for mobilizing the activities of our New Ventures Group, which will include senior leaders from across the firm — including myself — that will increasingly commit their time to the rapid incubation and delivery of new sources of client value,” said Mr. Case in a statement announcing the group.

Mr. Goland will assume his new role Nov. 1.

Earlier this year, Aon announced the appointment of two co-presidents and the change to a single Aon brand.
