Aon appoints Geoff Blampied as chairman of Asia-Pacific

U.K.-based insurance broker Aon P.L.C. has merged its commercial risk, health and affinity teams into a single Asia-Pacific division and appointed Geoff Blampied as its chairman, Asia Insurance Review reported. Mr. Blampied currently serves as chief executive of Aon New Zealand and will continue in the position. Aon has also appointed Sandeep Malik as chief executive of its solution lines for Asia-Pacific.
