Cyber attacks target Latin American banks: Report
Posted On: Sep. 28, 2018 5:37 AM CSTA report by regional forum the Organization of American States found that nine out of 10 banks in Latin America and the Caribbean suffered cyber attacks in 2017, The Daily Swig reported. The report found that nearly 40% of the banks experienced a successful cyber attack. Malware and phishing accounted for most of the cyber attacks with nearly four in 10 attacks not reported by banks, the report added.
