U.S.-based insurance broker Marsh and McLennan Cos. Inc. said that insurance for data regulation-related fines depends on European Union members' local laws. Businesses can be fined €20 million ($23.5 million) or 4% of gross annual global revenue under the General Data Protection Regulation.
