BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Lou Levinson will join American International Group Inc. as head of casualty for Lexington Insurance Co., effective Sept. 24, the insurer said in a statement late Friday.

He joins AIG from Venbrook Group LLC, where he was president of specialty services, responsible for managing the wholesale brokerage, managing general agent and third-party administrator operations, the statement said.

Mr. Levinson will lead the Lexington casualty business and be based in New York, reporting to David McElroy, who will assume the position of CEO on Oct. 4, as previously announced.

“Lou is a proven leader with experience revitalizing and growing specialty insurance companies,” Peter Zaffino, CEO of general insurance for AIG, said in the statement.
