Super typhoon disrupts oil refineries, ports' operations

Oil refineries, power plants and port facilities in Southeast Asia and East Asia have suspended their operations due to super typhoon Mangkhut, S&P Global reported citing sources. An official said that authorities have suspended port operations in Guangdong and Hainan provinces in southern China starting Sept. 15. China National Offshore Oil Corp. and CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Co. have suspended operations at the Dayawan petrochemical park in Huizhou.
