AIG's legacy risk unit expansion shaping up: CEO

Brian Duperreault, chief executive of American International Group Inc., said that the insurer could take 18 months to build infrastructure for its Bermuda-based legacy risk unit to target third-party business, The Royal Gazette reported. The insurer's unit – DSA Reinsurance Co. Ltd. – plans to provide reinsurance, claims management and run-off products for long-dated complex risks.
