ILS could face sustainability-related challenges: Swiss Re

Christian Mumenthaler, chief executive of Swiss Re Ltd., said that the insurance-linked securities market could face sustainability challenges related to adequacy of reinsurance pricing, Artemis.bm reports. Mr. Mumenthaler said that the ILS markets also face challenges related to understanding of underwriting risks and diversification despite becoming "an established force" in catastrophe segment.
