Magnitude-6.7 quake strikes Japanese island

Japan's Meteorological Agency said that a magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck Japanese island of Hokkaido on 6 September, Fox News reported citing The Associated Press. Several buildings collapsed following the quake, which also caused landslides. Nearly three million houses were left without power and three reactors at the Tomari nuclear plant went offline after the quake.
