Former Crawford chief joins rival adjusting firm

Former Crawford & Co. CEO Jeffrey Bowman has joined rival claims management firm Global Risk Solutions Inc. as nonexecutive chairman.
Mr. Bowman “will play a key role in helping our organization’s strategic growth, both domestically and internationally,” Kip Radigan, CEO of Miami-based Global Risk Solutions, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Mr. Bowman stepped down as CEO of Crawford in 2015 after eight years leading the Atlanta-based firm. In the past three years, he worked as a consultant with Deloitte.
Global Risk Solutions offers claims management services, including claims adjusting, to insurers and self-insured entities.
