QBE Insurance aims to mitigate climate risk exposure

Australia-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd. is partnering with U.S.-based climate risk consultancy firm Jupiter to predict and manage its global catastrophe-related exposure, Asia Insurance Review reported. David McMillan, chief operating officer at QBE, said that that the insurer will utilize Jupiter's data analytics platform to improve underwriting and pricing and to provide resiliency management services.
