Brazil fines bank nearly $3 million over data breach

Brazil's Ministry of Federal District and Territories has fined Banco Inter S.A. 10 million Brazilian real ($2.7 million) related to a data breach, IDG Now reported. The breach compromised personal data including photos, addresses, account numbers, telephone numbers, transactions, emails and passwords of about 100,000 people.
