Floods cause $5 billion of damage in Japan

Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism said that floods caused 531 billion Japanese yen ($5 billion) worth of damage in 2017, The Japan News reported. The ministry said that the floods caused JPY 153 billion worth of damage in Fukuoka prefecture.
