Ryanair refuses to pay compensation over canceled flights

Ryanair cabin crew members staged a series of strike recently disrupting the airline's operations. A spokeswoman at Ryanair said that the airline is not liable to pay compensation as the strikes fall under extraordinary circumstances according to European Union legislation.
