Guy Carpenter appoints head for South East Asia, Korea

U.S.-based reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter and Co. L.L.C. has appointed Bengt Johnsen as president and head of the Southeast Asia and Korea with effect from Jan. 18, 2019, Asia Insurance Review reported. Mr. Johnsen will succeed Richard Jones, who was promoted to chairman of Asia-Pacific in August 2017. Mr. Johnsen will be based in Singapore and will report to Tony Gallagher, chief executive of Asia-Pacific at Guy Carpenter.
