AmWINS, QBE partner on E&O cover for architects, engineers

AmWINS Program Underwriters, a managing general agent within Charlotte, North Carolina-based AmWINS Group Inc.’s underwriting division, is in a partnership with QBE North America to offer errors and omissions coverage for architects, engineers and design businesses.

AmWINS and New York-based QBE North America, a unit of Sydney, Australia-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd., are targeting firms with $1 million to $10 million in annual revenues, the firms said in Tuesday’s statement.

The policy’s key coverage features include pre-claims assistance, crisis management and technology, with no copyright/trademark exclusion. Limits of up to $5 million are available.

AmWINS Program Underwriters said last month it has formed a partnership with Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in its Home Health Care and Medical Facilities Programs.
